I WANT TO GIVE A BIG "THANK YOU" to all of you who volunteered to make the "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" such a success. This was a great example of our community coming together to help a needy family. I've heard stories about how many of you devoted long hours to this project. I know that many of you made donations of money and materials to the project as well. It was an exciting moment when the crowd shouted, "Move that bus!" I love all of you for having such a generous spirit.
NEXT MONTH WE'RE GOING TO REBUILD
the dormitory a our Lake Property. It has been in desperate need for an upgrade for years. So we're having our own "Extreme Dorm Makeover!" We're going to try to get as many GABC volunteers as possible to work on this. If you're interested in helping our Volunteer Christian Builders with this project, stop by the FLC for more information, or call the main church number at 903-525-1100 to learn how you can help. It won't be a network television show, but there are thousands of people who will be blessed by staying out at our Lake Property in the years to come!
DR. JIM DENISON IS RETURNING TO GREEN ACRES MARCH 21 AND 28
Dr. Denison is the Founder and President of The Center for the Informed Faith in Dallas. God has gifted him with a brilliant mind and he is a dynamic speaker. You might remember him from last fall when he came to speak on "The Threat of Radical Islam." On March 21 He will be speaking on "The Fifth Great Awakening." And on March 28 he is speaking on "God is NOT a Hobby."
ON SATURDAY MARCH 27 WE'RE GOING TO
deliver 5,000 evangelistic CDs to people in Tyler. This CD will also include a special invitation to attend worship at Green Acres on Easter. We need 100 teams of two to make this happen. Will you give us your Saturday morning on March 27 to spread the good news that Jesus offers HOPE to everyone?
