KNAPSACKS FOR AFRICAN STUDENTS
$20 each Donate a Knapsack
Help send African students to school with the the kind of school supplies they need! Each Christian knapsack contains: A Bible, spiral notebook, handkerchief, pens, pencils, dictionary, 3-ring binder, sharpener, colored pencils, toothbrush, and toothpaste. Each knapsack will be taken to Rick's Institute, a Christian boarding school in Liberia, Africa by a GABC Mission Team in December, where they will be presented to the students.

The Green Acres Children's Ministry is a 7-day-a-week ministry, with something happening for children practically every day of the year. GABC is dedicated to providing a place in which children of all ages can learn about God's love in the way and at a level uniquely suited to them. Through a wonderful combination of the finest facilities, committed, loving and trained teachers, the very best teaching materials and an almost boundless variety of learning experiences, we offer a fully integrated learning environment for your child.

Not only do we have a new building, we have a new name for our Children's Ministry: "One Way Children's Ministry." Our new name is based on the scriptural reference to "Jesus is the Way" from John 14:6.

Location We are located in the Children's Building. The information desk is at the main entrance off Leo Lynn St. (under the covered walkway) 903-525-1122 Telephone 903-525-1101 FAX children@mail.gabc.org		Sunday Mornings Sunday Morning Bible Study is at 8:15 and 9:30 each Sunday morning. Other Ministries We offer Bible Study for Children each Sunday, an Early Education Center for weekday preschool education and daycare, Kidz Praise for all ages, mission education classes, Bible Drill activities, summer activities and seasonal activities. Worship Services Children in Worship Services If you feel your child is too young to attend a Worship Service, you may be interested in the second Sunday School hour for all children birth-age 4. Planned activities include a story, a Bible learning activity, some playground time and a snack. Children age 5 or in Kindergarten attend worship with their parents.
Special Needs In order to provide the best care for special needs children, we request a one-on-one meeting before your child is admitted to the special needs ministry. Please call 903-525-1122 to set up an appointment. Read more about our program.		Parent Involvement We always encourage parents to be involved after they have completed an application for service and security checks. Every Sunday requires the help of more than 300 adults. Day Care The Early Education Center provides full-time care for children 5 days a week.		The Park The Park is a space created for children and parents to spend time playing and developing friendships. Open for play every day!
