How our Staff is Organized | PDF
In order to provide definition and organization for a large, skilled and highly diversified group of employees, the staff of Green Acres Baptist Church is classified by category. These categories reflect the general nature of the responsibilities of the staff members of which each category is comprised and are designed to reinforce the fact that each staff member is vital to the effectiveness of the entire Staff and the Church as a whole.

The Staff Responsibility Network diagram has seven categories:

PASTOR
The Pastor, who has the ultimate responsibility for the leadership and welfare of the church.

LEADERSHIP STAFF
Staff positions with responsibility for the leadership of the MAJOR MINISTRY AREAS of the church, currently including Worship & Broadcast, Education & Core Group, Administration, and Missions.

COORDINATING STAFF
Staff positions with primary responsibility for the coordination of a PRIMARY COMPONENT of one or more of the Major Ministry Areas of the church.

SPECIALTY STAFF

ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS
Staff positions that provide the day-to-day support for the ministry responsibilities of any of the ministry areas or positions in the preceding categories.

PRIMARY STAFF: FULL TIME

Personnel Policies | PDF
The GABC Personnel Policies & Guidelines Manual offers information about employee standards and expectations, staff organization, recruitment, working schedule, leave, benefits, compensation, termination and usage of church property. The manual does not contain job descriptions.

2009 Committees & Committee Structure | PDF
Green Acres currently has 21 committees and nine ministry teams. The Committee Structure document describes the purpose, membership requirements and duties of each committee and team.

Deadlines & Due Dates | PDF
Each ministry at GABC has its own set of scheduling guidelines for events and/or services. The Deadlines & Due Dates Guide outlines the lead times each ministry requires for whatever service or event other GABC ministries wish to use.

NOTE: No events or services in the guide may be scheduled directly by a church member or guest. This guide is intended as a reference tool and an illustration of how the GABC staff coordinates with other GABC ministries. To request any of the services listed within the document requires direct contact with one of our ministries.

Church Budget | PDF  |  2010 PROPOSED
The GABC Budget is more than just a financial document. It is a practical statement of our commitment to the purpose for which we exist. At Green Acres, we define that purpose with what some call "The Four Es." Although you will see them as the four major sections of the budget, you may not as readily notice they are a common thread intertwining through every line item in the budget.

Exalting God's Greatness
Evangelize God's World
Equipping God's People
Expressing God Love

...through Jesus Christ our Lord

City of Tyler Ordinances | PDF
GABC authorizes the City of Tyler to write tickets for those in violation of the city parking code. Adherance to these standards helps not only those who live in the neighborhoods surrounding the church, but the flow of traffic around our facility.
